British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex twice unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
